The College of Communications, made up
of the Department of Journalism, the Department of Radio-Television, and
the Department of Speech Communication, combines a strong liberal arts
and sciences background with the professional preparation required to
succeed in communications. The studies prescribed by the college have
four major purposes:

| _Accreditation | ||||||||||||||||||

The Accrediting Council on Education in
Journalism and Mass Communication (ACEJMC) invites all students, faculty,
staff, administrators and other persons to report incidents in which they
can present evidence that the college or ACEJMC has violated accreditation
standards, policies or procedures. Such complaints must be made in writing
and addressed to President, ACEJMC, 109 Stuauffer-Flint Hall, University
of Kansas, Lawrence, KS 66045. |
