University of Missouri Press to publish Shipman book

Dr. Marlin Shipman's book about U.S. newspaper coverage of women's executions is scheuled for a spring 2002 release by the University of Missouri Press. The book, "The Penalty Is Death," analyzes women's executions for the past 150 years. Dr. Shipman is a professor of journalism in ASU's College of Communication and a former newspaper reporter and editor. Read more about the book on the University of Missouri web site.
