Scholars Day features 5 Communications students

Five College of Communications students will present papers on research in media at ASU's Undergraduate Scholars Day. The presentations will be 9:30-11 a.m. April 15 in the Osage Room of the Reng Center. The students and their topics are:

• Brad Fletcher -- "A Content Analysis of Sex in Prime Time Television Studios";
  
• Meghan Hackney -- "A Content Analysis of Internet Advertising";
  
• Kira Hamilton -- "MTV: A Content Analysis of News Programming After September 11, 2001";
• Andrea Johnson -- "Traditional v. Contemporary Christian Music: An Analysis of Theme";
• Jessica Newburg -- "A Content Analysis of TV Violence in Daytime Soap Opera."
