Arkansas State loses to New Mexico
State in series
Down 3-2 in the bottom of the 10th with two outs and nobody
on, Arkansas State University loaded the bases with three consecutive
singles, received a bases loaded walk to tie the game and Nate
Olson streaked across the plate on a wild pitch by Andrew Garretson,
as the Indians (19-25, 7-10 Sun Belt Conference) came from behind
to defeat New Mexico State (29-17, 6-9 SBC), 4-3 Sunday afternoon
at Tomlinson Stadium-Kell Field in Jonesboro.
