A Word from Chris Harper, Director of Forensics -

The Arkansas State University Debate team is committed to global education through the academically competitive forum of intercollegiate debate. Last year (2004) we finished ranked 14th Nationally in the NPDA team rankings (the worlds largest debate organization). We typically attend around 14 tournaments a year. Our tournament schedule takes the ASU debate team to a good mix of regional, national and international competitions. We typically have between 10 and 20 students on our team supported by 2 graduate students and a Director of Debate. We have been lucky enough to be well funded and supported by the ASU administration at all levels.
