Personal Philosophy:

Maybe the grass is greener on the other side of the fence, but at least I am not mowing gravel. Take nothing for granted and realize that there is something valuable in everybody.

Why you joined debate:

The reason I joined debate actually has little to do with the activity itself and more to do with the amazing friendships I knew I could form. I do enjoy the event. I know more about the world and its issues than practically all my peers, but I stayed on the team because of my fellow, cool debaters and the relationships we formed.

The debate program at Arkansas State is unlike any other program on any debate circuit. The people, including team members as well as coaches, have been an invaluable instrument to success in my school career and life in general. I have built friendships that will last a lifetime and have learned, quite possibly, every politics scenario there is. I would like to thank everyone involved in the activity.

Favorite debate moment:

I have several favorite debate moments and they all have to do with my partner, Tyler “Tizzo” Vanderpool, getting made fun of.
