Letter-to-the-editor

Dear Editor:

This letter is in response to the editorial that appeared in The Herald March 10 entitled, "Athletics can save money without wasteful home game hotel stays."

I could not agree more with the editor.

Given the cost of a college education, Arkansas State University students and parents should be in an uproar about this waste of money.

Student athletes need to learn to self-regulate their behavior. If they break the rules, then the appropriate consequences should follow.
